stuff you can get from the store.\u00a0 I say almost because I'be been surprised before and gotten really good hummus from a few stores.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>One question I get, is people can find Garbanzo beans.\u00a0 They are the same as Chickpeas.\u00a0 You can read this on Wikipedia\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Chickpea\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a>.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>There are two key things in this recipe.\u00a0 The first is boiling the been with backing soda before you process them.\u00a0 I'm sure there is a scientific reason the baking soda works, but it does.\u00a0 And the second is the cooking the beans.\u00a0 Just just like hot potato's when you mash them, hot beans will give you a smooth consistency.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>This goes great with\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.kitchencollisions.com\/index.php\/2020\/08\/05\/pitta-bread\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Pita
