Carne asada
Carne Asada, somehting I can't live without. This recipieis so good, I dont miss the taco trucks anymore. Dont tell but I use my buffalo wing sauce for them, or the Salsa Verdea when making these. And dont be fooled by the kiwi, its a key ingredent to tenderising the steak.

Ingredients
Marinated
- ¼ cup garlic cloves
- ½ cup red onion
- 6 each scallions
- 3 each Ancho chilie Keep 1 cup of the water
- ½ bunch cilantro Stems are fine, thats what i use most of the time
- 1 cup Ancho chile water From stepping the chilie
- 1 each orange Zest & Juice
- 2 each lime Zest & juice
- ½ each Kiwi
- ¼ cup dark soy sauce or 1 ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 lbs skirt steak or flank
Instructions
Prep the Chilie
- Step the Ancho Chilie in hot water, covered for 10 mins
- Remove the Chili, cut top off and discard.
- Cut chili in half and remove ribs and seeds.
Blend the ingredents
- Add the chilie and the rest of the ingredents to a blender and mix
Marinade skirt steak
- Place marinade in zip lock bag. A min of 1 hr, max of 2 days. The longer the better.
