Hummus (from a can)
I usually make this recipe, though making it from dried beans is better. The process is the same after they are soaked.

Garbanzo Beans
1 Can (Chickpeas are the same)

Garlic cloves

teaspoon
baking soda

tahini

teaspoon
garlic powder

teaspoon
salt

lemon juice
Instructions
Drain and rinse the Garbanzo, add garlic, baking soda, and enough water to cover by a half-inch. Simmer till soft. About 20 to 30 minutes.
Drain and rinse Garbanzo beans and garlic.
Blend in a food processor for 3 mins, stopping twice to scrape down the sides.
Add the rest of the ingredients, except water. process for 7 minutes.
While still running, add 3 to 3 tablespoon of cold water.
Notes
Sometimes I'll add ¼ to ½ teaspoon of ground cumin
